Welcome to the LTW blog!

First off, I want to say thank you for checking us out! We here at Light The Way Tutoring and Performing Arts enjoy teaching and helping kids be the best they can be. We encourage our students to think outside of the box and to explore their God-given talents.

Light the Way TPA was started because my daughter and I saw a desire in children to want more than what they are given in their schools. In many schools, kids are taught a little, given lots of work, but not given the means of implementing the information they are given. So we are here to help in those areas as well as offer reading comprehension, performing arts which includes various dance styles, acting, sewing, stage presence, community engagement and outreach, and so much more!

Music and dance are very important to our generation. Many kids complain that they are bored and that there is nothing to do. That's where we come in. We want to give children an opportunity to explore outside of school, be involved in community engagement, be successful, and improve their self-esteem.

We encourage students to make the best out of what they are given and turn it into to something that they can appreciate.
